Wisconsin Dells with Rachel, Karlin and Cole

Brr, it has been absolutely frigid these last few weeks, alternating with a few really wierd early thaws, so when we got the chance to beat the cold for a few days, we took it! Rachel, Karlin and Cole decided to take a winter vacation at the Kalahari Resort in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin. Since we live so close, they thought maybe we'd like to join them! It sure was fun! Ethan wasn't so sure about the "big" toddler slides, but he had a good time anyway. He thought the most fun was standing on top of the platforms being King of the Castle! It sure is a neat waterpark! I think the most fun we had as a family was going down the Family Raft Ride. Ethan got big eyes every time we went down a steep part and then grinned the rest of the way down. Cole seemed to be having a lot of fun, too. The adults got to try a few more adventurous rides, well someone else spelled off the kids. Anyway, don't have too much time to write, but here's the few pictures I got ... unfortunately, none in the actual waterpark! Oh well!
Stay warm!

Ahh, so many choices! The Sweet Hut and a drooling spectator!
Rachel and Cole.
Ethan checks out the animals in the lobby.
Ethan's favorite: watching the baby cougars. They sure were cute!

Sounds and looks like you had lots of fun. Makes us want to go there again. They had a baby tiger in the cage when we were there a year ago.
