Trains!

With a father and grandfather who love trains ... one with a current model train and the other who used to have a model set up, and a boy who can spend hours playing at Barnes and Noble with the Thomas the Trains set, we thought Ethan would be overjoyed to get his train set for his birthday. Tom spend hours making a special table for his train set, which has been played with only sporadically. Mostly, Ethan just likes to line all the trains and cars up in a line on the track. Ethan, it seems, has been more interested in trucks. Or so it was until we met my family for a weekend and went to the Train Depot museum. The boys had a lot of fun and Ethan has been talking about trains ever since. Another highlight was that they were passing out free stuff for kids that day, so all the boys got free rubber train erasers and train whistles which we all got to hear for the next few days. Now that we're home, however, "outtide" is much more appealing.

Brody loves his new train whistle!
Evan loves the baggage car!

Ethan likes the "lellow" car, too!

My favourite snister!

I can tell you're from Canada from your spelling. It's not mis-spelled. . .if you're from Canada
(ie: harbour, favourite). Just had to tease you a bit. Looks like you had fun "up nort". Thanks for sharing.
