Friends!

Always fun to get together with friends! We recently went to see Ron and Lisa and their 3 cute kids: Jed, Jera and Brock. Although Ethan spent most of the weekend being a Mommy's boy and not really getting the idea of "playing" with the other kids, we still had a good time. The kids really enjoyed their time at the children's museum, riding the ferris wheel at the big sporting store, playing, and easter egg hunting. Jed had so much fun with the egg hunt that he kept playing Egg Hunting all weekend ... hiding them around the house and getting the adults to look for them. I love it that kids have such great imaginations! Ethan was enamoured with their toy Gator truck. He tried to claim it several times, but finally figured out that he was not going to be able to monopolize it all weekend. He and Brock finally called a truce and made it a two person truck. We all had fun with Cookie, their new puppy, who is adorable! Not only did we have lots have a good time, we also got spoiled with Lisa's awesome cooking! It was hard coming home to my own boring cooking again. We stopped at a hotel on the way there and Ethan had a blast in the pool. Tom was trying to teach Ethan how to relax in the water, which meant that Mom got to go hang out in the hot tub ... not a bad deal! The trip home was pretty long, but it was worth the trek to get to see friends!

Who says this has to be a one-kid vehicle? Brock and Ethan call a truce.
