First Day of Left at Home

After a summer full of playing with her brother (and not following Mom around all day long), Kaitlyn was in for a change.  After she finally woke up (she's still on summer schedule) and had breakfast, she was a wonderful little helper with the laundry, putting away socks, underwear and PJ's.  However, she was still wondering what we were going to do today.

 

Fortunately, Shannon called to save us from our boredom and invite us out for lunch.  After a *quick* bike ride around the lake, we met up with some of our favourite, smiley people. (Kaitlyn was delighted to be included with the "ladies" for lunch!)

 

The cafe we went to had some very interesting desserts, including this one: Mountain Dew and Dorito Cupcake!  You can satisfy all your cravings in one bite. :-O

 

Because our day just wasn't quite complete, we went to one of our favourite spots, the library, and stocked up on some new books for our reading basket. 

 

Ok, now we're ready for our first week of Left at Home.
